Elegance and taste are qualities which are not that frequent. In Charles restaurant you will find both of them. The soft interior tones which are ideally combined with each other create an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. All the details are thoroughly outlined. The interior of all the five halls are fruits of laborious work of designers. In the hall envisaged for smokers you will see the portraits of all the famous “Charles” made with grisaille: you will find Bauldelaire, Aznavour and many others.

When you descend down the stairs to the other halls of Charles you see a big box full with wine corks: these are the corks of the wines which have ever been opened in the restaurant. On the walls you find black and white photos of Paris and Yerevan, and of course candles. In the hall envisaged for non-smokers you will find rare items of antiques brought from France. In two different halls there are articles of modern sculpture, paintings of contemporary painters, as well as plates with autographs of those celebrated people who have ever been to Charles: Sos Sargsyan, Konstantin Orbelyan, and others play here.
In the lounge – bar you can pass your time in warmth and comfort sitting next to the fireplace, as well as enjoy the beauty of wall-mounted frescos with portrayal of two cities symbolic for the restaurant: Yerevan and Paris.

Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday you are welcome to listen to live music in Charles restaurant, and most frequently quiet blues, French chanson, as well as creations of Armenian composers: Tigran Mansuryan, Harry Qesayan, etc.

In Charles restaurant European and especially French cuisines are offered. Here you can taste French delicacies: tartar, terin made of “Foie-gras”, magre. Moreover, the rarest samples of dishes from the ancient Armenian cuisine are presented in the restaurant: the employees of Charles have found their recipes specifically in the archives of Matenadaran.

There is also a separate bar in the restaurant offering a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Besides the range of delicate wines you can taste also nominal champagne Charles, specially imported from France.
