Restaurant Baobab Yerevan
Restaurant Baobab, opened in the center of Yerevan in February, 2009, became one of the rare places where people can gather in family format. People visit the restaurant not only to have dinner but also to enjoy a nice evening, as well as to hold corporate and wedding parties. Warm atmosphere disposing to conversations on various topics dominates in the whole restaurant. The interior of the restaurant combines tranquil modern with elements of ethno-style.
Shelves full of wines imported from different countries of the world are hanging on the walls and the wine storage is placed by the entrance. On the whole, Baobab is a place putting its emphasis on wines and offering quite a wide assortment of “the Godes' drink”.
Besides wines and its usual assortment of alcoholic drinks, you can taste also special cocktails.
During 3 years of existence Baobab has managed to gain love of not only Yerevanians, but also numerous quests of Yerevan. There is no special variety of national Armenian dishes but one dish is worth noting: special roll with basturma. The eatery offers dishes of various countries of the world, also dishes from the cuisines of Japan, China, etc. but on the whole the menu is oriented at the European cuisine. Besides that, in the restaurant you can always taste the dish of the day. And for those who refrain from eating meat during the Great Fast it offers Lenten dishes.
